Cardio Interval Training combines the benefits of cardiovascular exercise and strength training in one session. Anyone looking for a well rounded workout will benefit from Interval Training. It provides a healthy aerobic workout and increased muscle tone and stamina.
Short bursts of cardiovascular aerobics alternated with strengthening exercises. It is this steady challenging workout and variation of equipment that shapes muscles and achieves the look you want. Immediate effects will be an energized feeling both mentally and physically. Longer term you will see weight loss and an increase in cardiovascular capabilities.
One hour class with alternating aerobic activity and strength training using a variety of weights, body bars, bands, and a step.
If you have participated in cardio or strength classes in the past this class is for you! If you are new to cardio then we encourage you to take it slow and work at your own pace. This class is taught at a level to encourage the experienced as well as the novice participant to challenge you physically. With continued attendance you will be on your way to better health.
